They’re calling on the federal government to come to an agreement over their rights.

Aboriginal Affairs Minister John Duncan was in Winnipeg Thursday and APTN National News reporter Meagan Fiddler found out what the minister had to say about the situation.

  3. Wow…just wow! Way to go Martin…you don’t have a clue! How are Indigenous people supposed to work within a system that isn’t willing to understand the history?! Statements like “that doesn’t really work” in reference to First Nations sovereignty. So Eurocentric of him to consider First Nations communities “municipalities of the province”, and he thinks “that’s the way it has to be”. What chance to we have?!?! UGH!!!
