Conservatives appointed tribunal chair on leave after devastating court ruling

The chair of the Canadian Human Rights Tribunal has taken a leave of absence.

Shirish Chotalia had only been chair of the tribunal since 2009.

Last week, a Federal Court judge took her to task over a discrimination case against the government that Chotalia dismissed.
