Families in Attawapiskat are anxiously awaiting the arrival of new homes.
The homes are awaiting shipment in Moosenee, Ont.
From there they will be trucked to Attawapiskat over an ice road.
The modular homes were built in Fredericton and trucked to Moosenee.
A total of 22 homes will make the long trip once the ice is thick enough to handle the load.
