Experts and activists have long argued that the failure of the federal government to properly fund Aboriginal education is costing the Canadian taxpayer.

Just how much money it is costing hasn’t been clear until now.

A study by a Saskatchewan economist shows how much the so-called education gap is really costing: $90 billion.
