A family celebrates return of girl from foster care

It’s estimated that approximately forty percent of children in foster care in Canada are First Nations, Inuit or Metis.

In B.C. more than half the children in foster care are Aboriginal.

But in one northern community, a First Nations family is celebrating the return of a little girl who was taken into custody after her mother was murdered a year ago.
