A call is issued to address child poverty

In 1989 an all-party agreement in Ottawa was passed to end child poverty by the year 2000.

Twenty-two years later, a report says the number of children living under the poverty line hasn’t changed.

Now, a group in Winnipeg is urging all governments to address the issue.
