Aboriginal Affairs and Northern Development Canada has released its first, initial response to reports from APTN National News about “take-it-or-leave-it” offers being prepared for all outstanding specific claims negotiations.
AANDC confirms that they are “adopt[ing] a new approach to speed up claims resolution”, but the response has done little to quell growing nationwide concern about the reported “take-it-or-leave-it” offers.
