Saskatchewan justice officials have hinted that the circumstances surrounding a venue change in the sentencing of a First Nations leader may come under review.

At the same time, another Saskatchewan chief is publicly condemning the leader after he pleaded guilty to serious charges in court.

  1. He should quit drinking altogether, and if he can do that then he should continue on doing the good things that he’s doing. His problem is out in the open and he needs to take major steps toward change. He needs more education too.nnIt’s not right that a person should drink and drive, but Lonechild has an active record of achievements and I don’t think it’s right to put an end to his achieving because of the streak of bad in him. Thank goodness he didnu2019t kill or injure anyone, but if he realizes the seriousness of his behavior and will make the necessary changes then why waste a good leader?nnUnless heu2019s like Brazeau. If heu2019s like Brazeau then lock him up.
