St. Lawrence River watch change triggers concerns

You’d think that if an environmental watch on a river in your community was lifted, it would be a good thing.

But Mohawks who live along the shore of the St. Lawrence River in Ontario say it’s not.

The federal and provincial governments are ready to lift the environmental area of concern designation.

But some say it is too soon.
