A man with a history of violence against sex trade workers in the Halifax area has now been charged with murder.

A man with a history of violence against sex trade workers in the Halifax area has now been charged with murder.

Steven Elliot Laffin, 36, has been charged with second degree murder in the death of Nadine Taylor, who had been working as a prostitute before she disappeared this summer.

News of the charges came amid a report that another prostitute had been murdered in the city.
