Alberta doctor suspended following alleged racist comments towards Indigenous people

Alberta Health Services has suspended a doctor in the town of Cardston for allegedly making racist comments to a group of Indigenous people.

The news follows allegations that an A and W restaurant in the same town called the RCMP after a patron bought breakfast for an Elder.

Pretty sure the Province must have a Health Professions Regulatory Body which can investigate whether the Alberta College of Ohysicians and Surgeons exercised due diligence in reviewing that allegations made against Dr. Clark. No one is above the law, not even a group of medical practitioners who remain for the time being, self regulatory.
