The son of one of the most decorated Indigenous war veterans is calling for support of former soldiers who are homeless.

Tommy Prince Jr. is urging the city to think outside the box when it comes to ending veteran homelessness.

    yes i think it would be a good idea to do this..it would a lot of people especially if the or all ready on old folks check are unble to make ends meet. IT would be help it was affordable to live in and have the hydro water heat in therent all this things can be paid by the same way the walfare workers get the lower rate when they pay direct because if the client pays out pocket they get different rate a higher one on all bills. Most of all it will help getting the elders out those damn hotels were alcohol …drugs.. beats.

    I think it would be nice if it was a place where all vets were welcome. Indigenous vets are not made unwelcome in other vet facilities.
