The 137 kilometre Inuvik to Tuktoyaktuk Highway opened in November 2017.

This summer, the highway that linked the Yukon to the ocean in the Northwest Territories is bringing in tourists and much needed cash.

People in Tuk are still hoping that more will be done in the future.

I was one of 100’s of motorcycles that rode to Tuk in June 2018. The scenery is absolutely fantastic, well worth the trip! Make sure to stop and talk to the great people in the NWT tourist office in Dawson City for the update on the roads and great spots to visit on the way.
