A year after the national MMIWG inquiry’s first hearing, one Whitehorse family is still dealing with the pain

A year ago Wednesday, the first set of hearings for the National Inquiry into Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls started in Whitehorse.

More than 50 families testified at the inquiry.

Some are still dealing with the trauma that was released by testifying.
