A walkout was held in Vancouver to oppose Kinder Morgan’s Trans Mountain pipeline.

The proposed, multi-billion dollar project would run from Edmonton, Alta., to Burnaby, B.C.

While some First Nation communities along the route have signed onto the project, others oppose it.

Students at a high school in Vancouver skipped class to join a rally that opposed the project.

Where do they think their welfare cheques will come from if big business is chased out of Canada? It will be from the remaining taxpayers.

Is it understood that the six billion dollar transfer or equalization payments BC receives from AB are dependent upon oil, and derailing a pipeline means less money in your pocket?
