A Nunavut mother explains what getting by with children in Nunavut is like. She says providing the basic necessities is often a challenge.

There’s a statistic that has been around since Nunavut was founded – the territory has Canada’s youngest and fastest growing population.

It is often seen as a threat, a territory pressed to provide basic services facing a population bubble.

APTN News met with one young mother and she’ll explain that in Nunavut, the challenges are basic, and daily.

    What is happening here. We are all Canadian. What the hell is the matter with the rest of you. Police persons should not be so controversial they are not paid to think. But what about basic survival. Justin does not provide basic survival in the Yukon or in Ottawa.
