For many it was a chance to remember loved ones, while others saw it as an opportunity to demand answers in many unsolved cases.

APTN’s Tina House caught up with a few of them.

You have touched a rock. You have dislodged a boulder; you will be crushed. The rights of Women is a universal movement for the dignity of all Mujeres. From the time of the Sufferage movement to the time of the Women’s Liberation movement, there has been a constant push for equality in the land of inequality. If we live in a land ruled by Democracy, why do we have to fight for our equality? If we are so free; why do we feel so oppressed? We continue to fight for Civil Right. We continue to fight for Immigrants rights. We fight for Gay rights. We continue to fight for workers rights. We continue to fight for Indigenous rights and we continue to fight for women’s rights.
