After nearly 20 years, Nunavut added to the Centennial Flame on Parliament Hill

It’s been nearly 20 years since Nunavut became a territory – and today the federal government added its crest around the centennial flame.

It’s been nearly 20 years since Nunavut became its own territory – and today the federal government added its crest around the centennial flame which sits at the base of Parliament Hill.

The 45-minute ceremony included dignitaries from Nunavut, cabinet ministers and the prime minister.
