Project Devote is asking the public for help finding the vehicle last seen when Amber Rosemarie Guiboche disappeared in Winnipeg seven years ago.
The police task force released new details this week about a burgundy pickup truck. Guiboche, also known as Amber Gerard, is believed to have been picked up by a man on the evening of Nov. 10, 2010.
Investigators say the man was driving a mid-1990 model Chevrolet Silverado, with an extended cab and short box that had a 4×4 decal near the rear of the box. The word “Chevrolet” was outlined across the tailgate.
The truck was last seen in Winnipeg’s West End travelling southbound on Isabel Street.
Police say Guiboche, 20, got into the vehicle around 11:45 p.m. at the corner of Isabel and William Avenue.
