This is all so sad and exactly what government planned.

Government set up a process ensuring its failure. This was paid by them; rules set out by them; all players picked by them; which ensured the outcome of the game.

In the end government will say, we heard you, we planned a process and funded it, unfortunately in the end there were no outcomes.

Indigenous families are left horrified with the process and outcome so far; resignations and demanding for those who remain to resign, while “Joe-public” tax payer convincing himself this process was another waste of tax payers dollars.

Come on, government knew how to do this. We just went through the Indian Residential School settlement process, the Common Experience Payment therein, Independent Assessment Process therein and Truth & Reconciliation Process therein.

Government already knew how to engage in a culturally, sensitive and respectful manner as outlined through those processes.

    This is so sad!
