A brother and sister, aged eleven and eight are suffering from burns to their bodies.
APTN has decided not to name the children.
The details of a horrific attack on two children in northern Saskatchewan are starting to emerge.
The children’s grandmother said the family is in a state of shock.
“Little burns on the forehead and singed hair,” said Alice Roberts. “But we will be getting help for them so they don’t have nightmares and stuff.”
The girl was sent to a hospital in La Ronge with minor burns and released.
The boy has extreme burns to his head and face and was airlifted to a Saskatoon’s Royal University Hospital.
The third child involved is under the age of 12.
