The National Inquiry into Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls has been under fire, almost since its inception.
It’s been criticized for re-traumatizing families, by keeping them in the dark about what the inquiry is going to do, and when it’s going to do it.
It all came to head when an open letter to head Commissioner Marion Buller was sent earlier this week.
Commissioner Buller responded Friday afternoon in Vancouver.
