National News Peguis First Nation declares state of emergency as homes flood By Brittany Hobson Apr 05, 2017 Brittany Hobson APTN National News Water levels rose quickly in Peguis First Nation over the weekend flooding more than 300 homes. By Sunday, 150 homes had to be evacuated. The chief said the community is in a state of emergency.
