A new pilot project in Saskatchewan is aiming to keep kids off the streets, and on the construction site.

The project is aiming to tackle the housing and education crisis in First Nations communities by utilizing young people and getting them involved in construction.

I really like this idea, young people giving up their weekends to learn some important skills and to give back to their communities by helping to construct housing. These houses are a great way for independent adults to acquire affordable housing that is easy to maintain, and cheap to heat and power up! Well done….would like to see this happening in more First Nations communities.
