It was the Day 2 of the inquest into the shooting death of a 26-year-old Aboriginal man by Winnipeg police back in 2008.

The inquest heard from the young man’s father on the first day, but his testimony was postponed due to his health.

On Tuesday, the inquest heard about possible systemic racism that may have led the shooting.
