Damage control over racist comments working for Ottawa police in Nation’s capital, but not up north

Concerns about online comments made by an Ottawa police sergeant have spread well beyond the Nation’s capital.

One example is in Nunavut where Ottawa police are called in to investigate complaints against the RCMP.

Now one member of the community says those investigators are no longer welcome.

But in Ottawa, one member of the Indigenous community has their own opinion about how the police handled the racist comment.
