Legendary singer Gord Downie says he’s stepping up the help reconcile Indigenous peoples and the rest of the country.
Downie, the singer for the Tragically Hip, announced a new project that he says will give Canadians a chance to learn and acknowledge a dark part of the country’s history.
The singer, who was diagnosed with brain cancer in Dec. 2015, is using the death of a First Nation boy to tell the story.
