Federal government announces $40M for new Cross Lake hospital amid suicide crisis

The Northern Manitoba community of Cross Lake, or Pimicikamak, First Nation remains under a state of emergency.

It was declared in March following a string of suicides.

But an announcement by the federal minister of health has provided a ray of hope.
