First Nations students finally get diplomas in Winnipeg hotel after wildfire disrupted grad ceremony

The celebration, as well as dresses and tuxedos, were donated to the group from Chemawawin Cree Nation in Northern Manitoba

Students from Chemawawin Cree Nation were in the middle of their high school graduation ceremony when a wildfire forced their northern Manitoba community to evacuate.

Many were understandably disappointed, but thanks to some well-wishers, the graduates got another chance at celebration.
