APTN is a media partner in the survey that gives us a glimpse at what non-Indigenous Canadians think, and what they know, about their Indigenous neighbors.

The survey covered a wide array of topics, from racism, to residential schools, to reconciliation.

It found there is a lack of awareness and understanding of Indigenous people among the Canadian public. At the same time, there is a strong desire to learn more.
