Manitoba RCMP charge boy, 15, with 1st-degree murder in death of Teresa Robinson, 11

APTN National News
Manitoba RCMP have charged a 15-year-old boy from Garden Hill with the first-degree murder of Teresa Robinson, 11.

Police said the youth was arrested without incident Thursday morning in the community and charged Friday.

It was always believed her alleged killer lived in the community.

RCMP investigators took the unusual step of requesting DNA samples from boys and men from a northern Manitoba First Nation community where the remains of Robinson were found during a search last May.

Garden Hill First Nation Chief Arnold Flett said several RCMP officers knocked on doors in the community  asking men aged 15 to 50 years old to allow a sample of their DNA to be taken at a local office used by the Mounties.

APTN National News will have more on Friday’s newscast.

This makes me so, so sick. I buried my daughter last year since her father beat her out of me. Prayers and smudge smoke going out to her family. Been there too. <3

  2. with a murder of this magnitude and viciousness, only the killer would have a problem with the way they handled this.
