Getting down to business, MPs and their committee work

The past election saw a record number of indigenous MP’s heading to the house of commons.  Those MPS represent ridings in British Columbia, Nunavut, Northwest Territories, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario and Newfoundland and Labrador.

Now that parliament is back in full swing, there’s a lot of work to be done, in the House of Commons and through parliamentary committees.

Here is where you’ll find your MP during business hours.

British Columbia:

Minister of Justice and Attorney General Jody Wilson-Raybould (Vancouver Granville) sits on a number of cabinet committees.

According to the Parliamentary website, she participates in the following committees: Agenda and Results, Canada in the World and Public Security, Sub-Committee on Canada-United States Relations, Diversity and Inclusion, Intelligence and Emergency Management and Open and Transparent government.
