Winnipeg financial firm facing ‘kickback’ allegations plays defence

APTN broke the news Thursday about a Winnipeg financial firm accused of offering cash kickbacks to chiefs in return for lucrative business deals.

One of those chiefs recorded a conversation in which he was offered $25,000.

On Friday, the firm, called Usand Group, responded to the allegations.
