Kahnawake developing own tobacco code

The Mohawk community of Kahnawake is on its way to regulating its tobacco industry.

It’s something local tobacco producers and retailers have resisted for decades.

Things are changing now as the community faces provincial and federal crackdowns. Kahnawake is uniting against these outside threats to the driver of their economy.
