A controversial bill to change how environmental assessments are done in the Yukon is playing a big role in what party First Nation voters will cast their ballots for.

Bill S6 amended the Yukon’s environmental assessment act and Nunavut’s surface waters act.

As APTN’s Shirley McLean reports from Old Crow, the issue could be the tipping point on who will be representing the Yukon in parliament.
