Leona Aglukkaq is one of the most prominent Indigenous women in Canadian politics.

She joined APTN’s Kent Driscoll for a wide ranging interview.

When asked how to solve Nunavut’s food crisis where children are starving, people scavenge the local dump for scraps of discarded food and food prices are through the roof at the store Aglukkaq’s immediate answer: a good education.
