Winnipeg police charge self-described gangster with violent history in killing of 3 men

Winnipeg police say they have a suspect in custody they believe is responsible for three murders this month.

John Paul Ostamas, 40, originally from Eabametoon First Nation in northern Ontario, was arrested on Monday.

The arrest follows two brutal slayings on the weekend, including one behind APTN’s headquarters.
