The national chief of the Assembly of First Nations had his say about Bill C-51 Thursday.

C-51 is the proposed law that will give Canada’s security services more power to fight terrorism.

AFN National Chief Perry Bellegarde went before a House of Commons committee saying that too many people will get caught under the proposed bill.

Those feelings are shared by many Indigenous people across the country.

APTN’s Danielle Rochette reports.
