In the early morning hours on Mar. 20, 1998 Evelyn Stewart was found in a Winnipeg parking lot.
Stewart was clinging to life.
She’d die a short time later from fatal head wounds.
On Monday, police in Winnipeg now believe the 25-year-old was targeted by someone she knew.
They’re appealing for help in the unsolved murder.
