So-called Shutdown Canada protest fails to live up to its name

The callout was for communities across the country to blockade their local highways, rail lines and ports.

Even now, we don’t really know for certain who was organizing the so-called Shutdown Canada event.

But throughout the West the numbers were small.

And in Winnipeg, the protesters were met with a barrage of insults and scorn.
