Outrage over ‘Indian’ Hallowe’en costumes

Every year at this time, there is outrage among many in the Aboriginal community over certain Hallowe’en costumes.

Yet, every year, there they are … back on the shelf.

But as APTN’s Dennis Ward reports, those who feel insulted say they will continue to speak up until the costumes are thing of the past.

    Wow this is so stupid, I dont see how this is offensive. Perpetuates stereotypes? Wtf? Native Americans dress up themselves for events and ceremonies, so what, when they do it, they arent perpetuating a stereotype, bu when a non native does, they are?
