Trial of priest accused of sex offences nearing end in Nunavut

After a six week break, the trial of Eric Dejaeger is back on in Iqaluit. The now defrocked priest is facing more than 70 charges for sexual assaults against children from his time in Igloolik, Nunavut between 1978 and 1982.

    Stop calling him a “defrocked” priest. He was NOT a defrocked priest when he committed the offences. Why try to protect the church and distance this scum from the crime and the church?
