It’s a slogan that’s caused some controversy the last few months.
Now in Saskatchewan a teenaged girl says school officials banned her from wearing a hooded sweater with those words.
APTN’s Shaneen Robinson has the story.
I am not native but I am constantly embarrassed by the small minded, uneducated, moves of some of my fellow Caucasians in this country. I think this slogan is great and says it all. Guess some people just aren’t comfortable with the truth and I am sorry this young lady had to suffer this blatant racial slur in what is supposed to be one of the best countries to live in the world… Canada. You mean the country with the best kept secrets in the world… Canada! Time to get our skeletons out of the closet and put them on the table Oh Canada!
