Meanwhile an elder from the Elsipogtog First Nation says she was beaten and humiliated by the RCMP while in police custody.

  2. Just because they are RCMP does not give them the right to disrespect New Brunswicker’s. I remember when I saw an ambulance take away one of my friends daughter by ambulance and I stopped to ask what happened he said go home it is not any of your concern but if you see an accident they will tell us it is our right to stop and do what we can to help. That day I will not forget him, he was a young RCMP with an attitude, when I seen he left I went back and asked the female officer she was very cordial and I appreciated her, so I believe they are not all alike. Sometimes they think they can say and do what they want without consequences because they are officers.
