The police in Montreal has stopped a few dozen protesters from marching to a hearing that’s looking into an Enbridge pipeline proposal.

The plan if approved would move tar sands bitumen from Sarnia, Ontario to Montreal.

The route cuts through the Mohawk community of Kahnawake.

Inside the hearings, the Kahnawake council gave its opinion on the Enbridge plan.
