The fate of a special parliamentary committee looking into missing and murdered Indigenous women and girls is in jeopardy.

The fate of a special parliamentary committee looking into missing and murdered Indigenous women and girls is in jeopardy.

Prime Minister Stephen Harper recently announced his intentions to prorogue Parliament.

That would mean the end of many bills and possibly the of the special committee.

Liberal MP, and Aboriginal Affairs critic, Carolyn Bennett says the committee will have to be reconstituted or resurrected when Parliament returns.
