Convicted murderer John Graham is making one last bid for freedom.
Graham, representing himself, filed what may be his final appeal in a South Dakota court June 12.
Graham argues as a Canadian South Dakota had no jurisdiction to convict him.
He was convictied in 2010 of the 1976 murder of American Indian Movement activist Anna Mae Aquash.
I commented but it seems to have been removed. John Graham was acquitted on the charge of murder as the gun used to kill Anna Mae was in the possession of the police at the time she was murdered. No police man was charged nor any investigation held. As John was extradited on a charge he was acquitted on he should have been returned to Canada. John’s only crime was that he told the countries in Northern Europe that mining of the Uranium they were using was causing severe pollution, mutations in the wildlife and blood diseases in children as well as being illegal. For this they accused him of this murder. John Graham is innocent.
John Graham was not convicted of murder. The murder charge was dropped when it was shown the murder weapon was in police custody at the time of the murder. He had been extradited from Canada on this murder charge and should have been returned when the charges were dropped. It would be useful if your reporters got their fact accurately. If this report were to appear in this country your paper would be sued.
