Mourning and candles through the streets of Saskatoon

In Saskatchewan they call it the annual day of mourning.

In Saskatchewan they call it the Annual Day of Mourning.

It is meant to remember and honour the lives lost to the sex trade and workers who died from suicide, drugs, disease and murder.

As APTN National News reporter Larissa Burnouf finds, it was an emotional day capped off by a candle-light march through downtown Saskatoon.
