The company that makes a vaccine for tuberculosis has announced a recall.

It’s a big deal in the North. In Nunavut, every child receives a shot.

People are not usually vaccinated in the rest of Canada.

APTN National News reporter Kent Driscoll has this story from Iqaluit.

  1. Why did they have a recall? what was wrong with this vaccine? They already knew something was wrong with the vaccine before they decided to release defect of vaccine to the media. “Just to save face”. What we should be asking is…. is this some sort of government plan to slowly relieve the nation of our Aboriginal Peoples? I am deaply concerned on how trusting our Native People are to the Canadian Government. We should know better now because of past broken promises. This crisis goes deeper than we think!
