Chief Baptiste opines on Taseko Mines’ new proposal

Taseko Mines has been trying to get the Prosperity Mine approved for 20 years.

The Canadian Environmental Assessment Agency killed the proposal last year.

But the company put in another proposal this summer.

Xeni Gwet’in Chief Marilyn Baptiste has been very vocal about the environmental concerns.

She joined APTN’s anchor Michael Hutchinson from Ottawa.
